Tomorrow I will go to Leipzig to build up my 4-channel installation ‘Transport’ at D21 Kunstraum. The official opening is next week, but I won’t be there as I am in Russia then.
I did a stereo mix of this piece and released it on My Own Little Label along with a special 3″CDR of a recent Wander piece, which started out from various rehearsal Freek and I did. Expect lots of field recordings, electronics, but also dominant guitar – quite a new direction for Wander. These can be ordered now.

Probably most known from his ongoing work with Kapotte Muziek (a group that fully concentrates on recycling through musique concrete) and as one half of ambient sound-artists Beequeen. As well as writing the informative and acclaimed weekly newsletter "Vital Weekly", Frans De Waard also founded the Korm Plastics label in 1984, initally only offering cassettes, but since 1992 offering an ever-growing catalogue of CDs and vinyl of contemporary experimental music.
